How we work

From a note to a live website.

Here is what happens, in order, including the price. You do not have to remember this. You only have to take the first step.

What to send

You do not need to know about hosting. You do not need finished writing, a brand guide, or a timeline you are sure of. If something is missing, we will ask.

Enough to begin

  • Your name, and the business name if there is one
  • Your email
  • What you want the website to do, even in one sentence

Useful if you have them

  • Your current website, even if you hate it
  • Two or three websites you like the feel of
  • Who you want the website to talk to
  • A logo — or we work with your name
  • Photos, if you already have them
  • Phone, address, hours, and a short list of what you offer

The steps

  1. You write

Tell us who you are, what you want the website to do, and who you want it to reach. A few sentences is enough.

  2. You hear back

A person at Liquid Networks replies, usually within a day. If a few questions would help, you get them. If a short call would help, thirty or forty minutes is usually enough. There is no homework packet.

  3. A plan and a price

You get a written plan: what will be built, what it costs, and about how long it will take. Work does not start until you agree. A straightforward website starts at $2,500 and usually goes live in less than a month. Hosting and updates after launch are $75 a month. Bigger work gets a bigger price, written down the same way.

  4. The details

Next come the specifics: your logo, official phone, photos, hours, and the words you already use. If you do not have writing, a draft comes from your notes. If you have photos, those get used. If you do not, suitable images can be made for the pages, or a photographer we work with can shoot on site for an extra fee. Facts are never invented.

  5. You look at the real website

The website is built and you get a private link. You open it on whatever device you use. You say whether it feels like you, and whether it would make sense to the person you want to reach. Then it is refined from what you tell us.

  6. It goes live

The website goes live on your web address — the one you already have, or one we help you get. Hosting is already set up. After that, if something needs to change, you write us.

  7. Hosting and updates

Everyday edits that keep the website true are included — a change of hours, a new photo, a name on or off a page, and other small facts like that. You send a note, and the change is made. A new page or a redesign is separate work, with its own price in writing before it starts.

Who you work with

You are not handed off from person to person. You do not need a special login to keep the website going. Email is enough: look at a link, say what is true, and hear back from the person doing the work.

Take the first step.

Send a few sentences about the website you need.
